Dream Cruises will launch Little Dreamers a new children’s program
Genting Dream, the first and brand new ship of Dream Cruises – Asia’s first-ever luxury cruise line – will launch Little Dreamers this April 2017: a curated programme designed for kids aged 2 to 12 years old who will enjoy a remarkable range of activities while sailing on any cruise of Dream Cruises.
No matter whether you choose the 5-night Okinawa journey, or the 2-night weekend getaway, the spirit of dreaming is propelled into a wide range of adventures and activities that focuses on the culture, history and environment surrounding each destination of the sailing itinerary.
Little Dreamers also offers a voyage of discovery where activities are designed to encourage an entirely new way of inspired and creative play where kids can open their minds to endless possibilities. Little Dreamers can participate in age appropriate workshops from the arts to music and dancing to manners and etiquettes. We believe that every child’s dream should be encouraged, and a fertile imagination is the beginning of an infinite range of dreams being realized.
Parents who wish to give their children a fun-filled yet educational Easter vacation will welcome Little Dreamers, being a highly interactive programme for kids to unleash their full potential and reach for their dreams. To welcome our Little Dreamers, Genting Dream will be transformed into a chocolate paradise with the creative genius of Jean-Marie Dessard, renowned chocolatier and world record holder from Belgium.
In addition to bespoke chocolate treats, guests will enjoy chocolate-themed activities and giveaways throughout the month of April.
BELGIAN CHOCOLATE MASTER MAKES CRUISE DEBUT
Dream Cruises collaborates with Jean-Marie Dessard, Belgian chocolatier and master sugar artist, to create an Easter chocolate paradise onboard Genting Dream. Best known for his world-record breaking creation of “The Largest Sugar Bell” in 1984, Dessard will curate a special collection of Belgian chocolate delicacies, exclusively available to guests of Genting Dream.
The collection will include thematic chocolate tea set, specialty beverages and pastries, as well as the limited-edition “Dream Cruises x JMD Asia Collection” truffles set, which comprises 9 handmade truffles of exotic flavors such as ginger, chili and whisky.
Also a well-acclaimed artist, Dessard’s passion for chocolate translates into vivid portraits of international celebrities, using melted chocolate as his medium of choice.
Dessard will lend his expertise to a series of enrichment programs onboard, such as live showcase of sugar art and chocolate painting, as well as chocolate and wine pairing workshops.
ENJOY AN EDUCATIONAL VACATION AT SEA WITH LITTLE DREAMERS PROGRAMME
Kids aged 2-12 years old may enjoy the complimentary enrolment for Little Dreamers program, where participants receive a graduation certificate autographed by the Captain of Genting Dream and special souvenir upon completion of designated courses. Little dreamers who join designated April sailings of Genting Dream will learn the ropes from Jean-Marie Dessard, the Belgian chocolatier, who will share the secrets of chocolate cup making.
The educational program will also include classes on manners and etiquette, arts and crafts, as well as interactive English games, followed by the grand finale of graduation ceremony.
HANDS-ON EASTER FUN FOR GUESTS OF ALL AGES
In the festive spirit of Easter, thematic parties and workshops will be hosted onboard for all family members to enjoy, such as Easter egg making, Easter egg hunt party, Easter bonnet making competition and more. Teenage guests may opt for a game of water balloon challenge, or find their artistic strides with an art jamming session.
