Light Up the Night Skies
Dance the night away and enjoy live bands and gourmet feasts during “Dream Night” and, as a grand finale, “Fireworks at Sea” will illuminate the stunning backdrop of the ocean and night skies with rainbow colours. This is the first in a series of ongoing fireworks display of its kind in Asia that is not to be missed. Guests can enjoy “Fireworks at Sea” every Thursday on 5-night cruises from 23 November as well as on Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve.

Swim Like a Mermaid
Genting Dream’s most beloved main character – the Mermaid – returns this season for the first-ever Mermaid Academy at Sea in Southeast Asia as part of our widely-acclaimed on board enrichment program. Hosted by none other than Mermaid Kat, who is known for establishing the world’s first Mermaid Academy, the program involves live demonstrations by Mermaid Kat featuring her custom-made mermaid tail inspired by the ship’s signature design, as well as workshops where children can don their own mermaid tail as they learn splashing skills and underwater movement techniques. Families can get a chance to have photo packages with Mermaid Kat, and listen to her talks about the environment and her fascinating journey to becoming a professional mermaid. Guests can catch the Mermaid at Sea Academy from 20 November to 24 December.

Discover New Stars
Exclusively for children aged 5-16 years old, “Reach for the Stars” is a junior talent show and a unique opportunity to unleash their young talents. No matter what your child’s talent is – be it singing, dancing, aerobics or even talking – the sky’s the limit! The top 5 selected finalists will be invited to a complimentary weekend cruise for a Grand Finale showdown, where the ultimate winner will be chosen. The Champion will enjoy a 5-night cruise voyage in a Dream Suite, as well as the chance to perform as a guest entertainer in their own 30-minute show on board Genting Dream! Guests can register their children from 1 December 2017 – 5 January 2018.

Christkindlesmarkt – A Classic Tradition with a Modern Twist
Have a stroll in Dreammarkt, a modern take of the traditional Christmas market, for a full-on festive experience. Entice your taste buds with freshly-baked gingerbread, hot-off-the-grill frankfurters and apple-filled Nonnenseufzer doughnuts or warm your hands and your heart with a glass – or a boot for a truly authentic experience – of piping-hot Glühwein. Browse through stall after stall of handcrafted trinkets and pick the most unique Christmas gifts for your loved ones; bask in the festive atmosphere with soothing Christmas carols in the background – join the vocal masterclass and be part of a mini Christmas concert! The Christmas bazaar will run from 19 November to 31 December.

Explore Southeast Asia

The 5-night Straits of Malacca Cruise will feature the popular Kuala Lumpur-Penang-Phuket itinerary, while the highly-anticipated 5-night Java Sea Cruise will set sail to Surabaya and North Bali. Passengers can combine the Straits of Malacca and Java Sea cruises for a 12-night cruise experience, with the option of spending the weekend in between either on-board the ship or in a hotel in Singapore.
