Port Everglades: cruise and ferry passengers increased by 1 percent in 2017

Port Everglades (Courtesy of Broward County's Port Everglades)The Port experienced slight increases in cruise passengers this year. The total number of cruise and ferry passengers increased by 1 percent for a total of 3,863,662 passengers in FY2017.

Multi-day cruise passenger numbers increased by 2 percent from 3,680,549 in FY2016 to 3,738,252 passengers in FY2017. New cruise ships introduced into the Port’s fleet in FY2017 included Royal Caribbean International’s Harmony of the Seas and Holland America Line’s Koningsdam.
