Cruise Baltic carried out two successful FAM trips
This past month, Cruise Baltic held two FAM trips in connection to the Cruise Baltic Summit in wonderful Klaipeda, Lithuania. During the FAM trips a large number of representatives from cruise destinations, cruise ports and cruise lines participated.
Cruise Baltic is hosting FAM trips every year to give cruise lines representatives the possibility to learn more about new ports, developments in port facilities and getting first-hand experiences of the attractions in the area. Cruise Baltic Director, Claus Bødker, says:
“We are very pleased after two successful arranged FAM trips with positive feedback from the participants. The trips gave them the opportunity to ask questions directly to the ports, helped them to make decisions on itineraries and made it even possible to discover hidden gems that are worth adding to an itinerary.”
Cruise Baltic has hosted multiple FAM trips since 2008 and since they are so well received, Cruise Baltic will continue to arrange FAM trips to different destinations in the years ahead.
This year´s FAM trips were held prior and after the Cruise Baltic summit in Klaipeda. The first FAM trip visited Stockholm, Gothenburg, Roenne, Copenhagen, Kalundborg and Klaipeda, and the second FAM trip visited Tallin, Kemi, Helsinki, Mariehamn and Kotka.
