Norwegian Cruise Line Hosts Exclusive Preview Event for Norwegian Encore in Las Vegas
The brand collaborated with its partners Michael Mondavi Family Estate, Liquid Kitchen® and LDV Hospitality, as well as featured a surprise performance by “Happy Hour Prohibition: The Musical,” delivering an experiential showcase of the upcoming amenities on board the company’s latest ship.
Attendees enjoyed a first taste of Onda by Scarpetta, the new restaurant concept developed by LDV Hospitality, who will be bringing their critically acclaimed Scarpetta experience to the high seas on Norwegian Encore. Leveraging the hospitality brand’s Las Vegas location at the Scarpetta restaurant, the on-site culinary team recreated a sampling of the dishes that will be available on board, including yellowtail crudo and braised octopus, as well as some of Scarpetta’s all-time favorites, such as their spaghetti tomato and basil.
Attendees enjoyed a tasting of various wines from the Michael Mondavi Family Estate including Isabel Mondavi Pinot Noir and Chardonnay and Emblem Cabernet Sauvignon. To showcase the exclusive bespoke cocktail experience available only on NCL’s The Haven, the company’s private luxury enclave, master mixologist Kathy Casey of Liquid Kitchen crafted bespoke cocktails for guests. Specialty created cocktails included the “ENCORE,” made of Woodford Reserve, Refuge Rum blend, coffee bitters and 24-carat gold.
Seven female performers from the on-board interactive cocktails and theater show, “Happy Hour Prohibition: The Musical,” delivered an engaging cabaret-style performance.
