The Alaska cruise season is all but over now for the year, but the pollution legacy of the massive ships that passed through B.C. waters remains.
Several tourism business groups are celebrating the return to normal with plans for an even bigger cruise season in 2023. Unfortunately, as regulations stand, the pollution footprint of the cruise sector will also be returning to the West Coast next summer.
