Second edition of AIDA cruise catalog for March 2019–April 2020 out now



AIDAaura at Sydney The second edition of the AIDA catalog “My hotel shows me the world” for the 2019/2020 season was published on October 11, 2018. In the latest edition, AIDA provides an overview of the third AIDA world cruise with AIDAaura, and introduces the new route with AIDAmira.

Second AIDA world tour started in Hamburg

AIDAaura at Sydney On Monday, October 8th 2018, at 08:00 pm we said “Cast off and have a good trip!” to AIDAaura. After the grand send-off with fireworks, the ship sallied forth to its first world cruise. 20 countries and 41 ports are awaiting a visit from the globetrotter.

River Conveyance of AIDAnova




AIDANova at Meyer Werft (Photo credit Meyer Werft)The new cruise ship for AIDA Cruises, AIDAnova, will probably leave Papenburg on Monday, October 8, 2018 to be conveyed on the river Ems to Eemshaven (Netherlands). The ship is planned to arrive in Eemshaven on Tuesday morning. Later on the ship will go through several days of technical and nautical sea trials on the North Sea.

German pop star Daniel Kueblboeck missing after falling overboard from cruise ship



German pop star Daniel Kueblboeck has gone missing off the coast of Canada after going overboard from a cruise ship. Aida Cruises confirmed the news, and in a statement the company told Metro.co.uk that ‘an intensive search is taking place in the sea area off the Canadian coast in close cooperation with the Coast Guard for a missing person’.
