Over 40 years of partnership between Costa Crociere and Port of Kiel




This Sunday, (02/09), Kiel says goodbye to the Costa Pacifica cruise vessel for this year’s season. To mark the over 40 years of partnership between the shipping company, the city and the port, Hans-Werner Tovar, City President, Dr Dirk Claus, Managing Director PORT OF KIEL, Captain Paolo Viscafè and Dr Jörg Rudolph, General Manager Costa Germany, unveiled a bronze plate on Kiel’s Walk of Cruise Ships at the Ostseekai Terminal.

CDFG secures landmark cruise agreement for Costa Atlantica



Costa AtlanticaChina Duty Free Group (CDFG) has signed an agreement with Carnival Corporation to operate the retail on Costa Cruises vessel Costa Atlantica. A tender to operate retail on Costa Atlantica was launched by Carnival Corporation in 2016. CDFG said it beat “fierce competition” from many international duty-free operators to secure the concession after many rounds of negotiations. (dfnionline.com)
