CMV first to use Visby’s new cruise terminal

Astoria  (Photo Courtesy Cruise & Maritime Voyages)Cruise and Maritime Voyages’ Astoria will be the first vessel to use the new cruise terminal at Visby, also known as the Copenhagen Malmo Port (CMP), on the island of Gotland – Sweden. When the ship calls on Monday 16 April it will be the first of some 90 cruise calls.

With the announcement on Wednesday, 7th March 2018, that Cruise & Maritime Voyages had acquired Pacific Eden from P&O Australia, we invited all our valued Columbus Club members and Trade Partners to participate in naming her. Following the ‘explorer’ theme of our fleet, the choices were:- Pytheas, Vasco da Gama, Henry Hudson and Amerigo Vespucci.
