Disney Cruise Line’s Port Canaveral Terminal to Close for Extensive Refurbishment in June 2020 Ahead of Disney Wish Arrival

Disney Cruise Line passengers should be aware of a change to cruises embarking and debarking from Port Canaveral. According to Disney Cruise Line Blog, documents revealed ahead of Wednesday’s Port Canaveral board of commission meeting show that the cruise line’s Cruise Terminal 8 (CT8) will be closed for a five-month refurbishment from June to October of next year. Disney Cruise Line’s new Port Canaveral terminal readies for construction

Work will start soon to prepare Port Canaveral’s Cruise Terminals 8 and 10 for some new Disney ships. That’s according to Bill Crowe, vice president of engineering, construction and facilities for Port Canaveral, who was one of several panelists at Orlando Business Journal’s Doing Business in Brevard County luncheon on Aug. 23.
