“Scarlet Lady”, the first of four ships which Virgin Voyages (a brand part of Virgin Group) ordered to Fincantieri, was floated out today (Feb.8) at the shipyard in Genoa Sestri Ponente. Interior fittings will now begin, leading the ship to its delivery, scheduled at the beginning of 2020.
“Seven Seas Splendor” was launched today at the Ancona shipyard. She is the second super luxury cruise ship that Fincantieri is building for Regent Seven Seas Cruises, brand of the Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings Ltd (NCLH). The delivery is scheduled for 2020.
Viking today announced it took delivery of Viking Jupiter®, the company’s sixth ocean ship. The delivery ceremony took place this morning when the ship was presented at Fincantieri’s shipyard in Ancona, Italy.
Fincantieri and the US Group Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings Ltd. signed a contract for the construction of one new ultra-luxury cruise ship for the Regent Seven Seas Cruises brand to be delivered in 2023. The value of the agreement amounts to approx. 474 million euro.
