Seven Holland America Line Ships Explore The Caribbean On 2019-20 Cruises

There are seven of the line’s premium, mid-sized ships to choose from including the two newest ships — Nieuw Statendam and Koningsdam — all conveniently sailing roundtrip from Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

Plans are in the works for a pier, which will eliminate the need for passengers to tender ashore — a process that can be time-consuming and tedious, particuarly in rough weather or for cruisers with mobility issues. Investigation launched after Holland America cruise ship appears to just miss pod of humpback whales




The Eurodam - HALThe National Oceanic and Atmospheric Association (NOAA) is investigating after a Holland America cruise liner “may have made contact” with a pod of humpback whales off the coast of Alaska. The liner, the Eurodam, was filmed sailing alongside the whales on Monday morning, according to footage shared to social media by Brent Kidd Palmer. (foxnews.com)
