Gibraltar welcomed Seabourn Ovation in her inaugural call, recently joined the International Association for Ports and Harbours and refreshed its Port Handbook
The 40,350 ton, 604 passenger cruise ship Seabourn Ovation made its inaugural visit to Gibraltar on Monday 21st May. Like sister ship Seabourn Encore, which made its inaugural call to Gibraltar on 11th Aug 2017, it is an encore-class cruise ship built by Fincantieri and is 26% larger than the older Seabourn ships.
The 52nd MedCruise General Assembly is taking place between 23-26 May 2018 in Malta. MedCruise is the Association of cruise ports in the Mediterranean and its adjoining seas, now totalling 72 members representing more than 100 ports around the Mediterranean region, and other cruise trade members.
The cruise industry came together during a special event held as part of Seatrade Cruise Global, celebrating the fact that MedCruise member port of Lisbon will be the one to host Seatrade Cruise Med event on 19-20 September 2018.

MedCruise was actively present at the 2018 edition of Seatrade Cruise Global event, held 6-8 May 2018, in Ft Lauderdale, US. The Association of Mediterranean Cruise Ports joined the event with its own stand, dynamically promoting cruise activities in the Med and beyond.
