Columbus PNW Transpacific Cargo-Passenger Service: Weekly Between Seattle and Vancouver and Chinese Ports and Shanghai

CMA CGM subsidiary APL has placed six 2012-built 10,600 TEU container vessels into the Columbus PNW Service, with passenger sailings now being offered weekly. The APL Barcelona, APL Dublin, APL Paris, APL Qingdao, APL Southampton and APL Yangshan now all sail between Seattle and Vancouver in North America and the Chinese ports of Yantian (for Hong Kong), Xiamen, Ningbo and Shanghai plus Pusan.



New Cargo-Passenger Service: Europe to Mexico, Costa Rica and Colombia by m.v. Polar Chile, Every Six Weeks

The newly-built 52,000 dwt ton Peter Doehle-owned container ship Polar Chile has now entered service in the EMCS trade between London, Continental ports and Mexico, Costa Rica and Colombia. Ports of call are Antwerp, London and Hamburg and thence to Altamira and Veracruz in Mexico, Puerto Moin in Costa Rica and Cartagena in Colombia, after which the ship returns to north Europe with a call at Marin-Ponevedra in Spain.

New Felixstowe-New York-Charleston-Colombia-Portsmouth-Continental Ports Cargo-Passenger service

Effective with the departures of February 19 and March 19, 2018, we are pleased to be able to offer a new passenger service to the US East Coast and back from Colombia. The passenger service is offered by the Peter Doehle-owned 34,250-ton Hammonia Emden and Hammonia Husum, each capable of carrying 2,556 TEU of containers and three passengers.

The Cruise People Ltd is happy to announce a new cargo-passenger service between Europe and North America with five new ACL vessels called the G4’s. All delivered over the past two years to Grimaldi Lines subsidiary ACL, these ships will now offer a weekly fixed day of the week passenger service between Hamburg, Antwerp and Liverpool in Europe and Halifax, New York and Baltimore in North America.

Hamburg-Süd Withdraws From The US/Australian Passenger Trades; CMA CGM Offers Substitute Service Via Singapore

Another shoe dropped this Friday following the December 1 acquisition of Hamburg-Süd by AP Moller (Maersk Line), with Hamburg-Süd announcing the end of its passenger services between North America and Australasia. These services have been offered since 1971, when Hamburg-Süd division Columbus Line became one of the first container lines to carry passengers.

Liverpool-Philadelphia Cargo-Passenger Service Back To Weekly

With her first passenger sailing in October, the Independent Venture will rejoin the Independent Container Line route between Antwerp and Liverpool in Europe and Chester PA and Wilmington NC in America. The Independent Venture can accommodate up to six passengers in an Owners and two Double cabins, and joins the passenger service on October 4 at Antwerp and October 7 at Liverpool.

Two Asia – South America Cargo-Passenger Routes Reinstated After Recent Ship Changes At CMA CGM

With all the ship and route changes occurring at CMA CGM this year two South America-Asia routes that had not recently been available have now been revived. One route (ACSA2) connects Chinese ports, Hong Kong and Taiwan with Mexico, Panama, Colombia, Peru and Chile while the other route (SEAS) connects Singapore, Hong Kong and Chinese ports with Brazil, Argentina and Uruguay.
